Memory foam mattress toppers are an affordable way to add support and softness to any mattress. They are widely available in many stores, by many manufacturers, in a range of prices and a range of features. Most people prefer to get the thickest memory foam topper available. Toppers with quilted cotton layers on top are great, as they offer the support of memory foam with the softness of a quilted pillow top topper. Foam mattress toppers are more affordable than replacing foam mattresses, and offer an inexpensive way for people who prefer traditional inner spring mattresses to enjoy the benefits that visco-elastic foam offers.
My personal ranking of those discussed above are; Sealy TrueForm Mattress (11 series) in third place, followed by the Simmons ComforPedic Mattress (Nassau) in second place with the Tempur-Pedic mattress (the Classic model) just making it into the number one position.Memory Foam Mattresses - Is It Good For Your Back
The air mattress also has other uses for example you can lay it across your back seat when on a road trip. It feels more comfortable than using a car seat. All about buying the Perfect Mattress for your Queen Size Bed
What is interesting is the SpiraLok Technology used in the Restonic mattress. Basically, it's a tight steel weave that locks the coils together. It's claimed that this reduces motion transference and thus decreases partner disturbance. In total contrast, the Simmons Beautyrest mattress uses pocketed coils - springs that are not joined together but are kept separate in their own fabric pocket. So, who's correct? In my view I can't see how a traditional innerspring mattress can claim to reduce motion transference; pocketed coils help but they have drawbacks. If you really want to eliminate motion disturbance, you need to opt for either latex of a memory foam mattress - which both Simmons and Restonic offer.
