Getting rid of bed bugs will not be achieved through the use of a memory foam topper cover, but they'll prohibit them from making contact with an individual. A zippered mattress cover is the best choice since the zipper will fully enclose the mattress or memory foam where the bed bugs are lurking. However, the zipper must fit tightly and have little enough teeth so the bed bugs cannot escape.
On the negative side visco elastic foam is extremely heavy, making them exhausting to move if needed. They can also generate a strong odor when brand new due to their off gassing. This is brought about from the chemical substances that the mattress is produced from, producing a smell comparable to paint. But, the smell will die out after it has had some time to off gas. Some people also have an issue with them being too warm. Since memory foam retains body warmth they'll sometimes become uncomfortably warm to some folks.
One of the grates benefits that wool has to offer is its moisture-wicking capability. This means people who have wool mattress pads on their beds will never have to worry about waking up in a pool of sweat. Whether someone is sick with a fever, experiencing menopause or suffering from night sweats, the wool will quickly wick away the sweat from their bodies. This will keep them cool and comfortable on hot summer nights as well.
Age is the first consideration when determining if a mattress should be replaced. A mattress that undergoes daily use will generally last eight to ten years. This seems to be standard for all types of mattresses, whether innerspring, memory foam, or latex foam. By the time a mattress has been in use for eight years, it is time to start watching for other signs of deterioration.
