The discomfort, disinformation, disadvantages and distress associated with memory-foam may well in time show it to have been just another so called "wonder product" that came and went in the history of bed-manufacturing. (Consider the "orthopaedic" craze of the 80's and the bad backs suffered by millions as a result of sleeping on mattresses as hard as a board - thankfully now almost consigned to history). Meanwhile while the steady tide of traditional British pocket-sprung bed and mattress manufacturing at its best flows smoothly, comfortably and supportively on.
Now, back to the quality issue. The British company ViSpring first invented the pocket-sprung mattress in 1901. Since that time millions of people have enjoyed the benefits of this versatile system, which has been constantly developed and improved by the inventor and other leading manufacturers over the intervening century. Two such prestigious bed manufacturers are Hypnos and Relyon, and Hypnos's extremely comfortable pocket-sprung beds are even chosen by HM the Queen Elizabeth II for the UK royal households of Buckingham Palace and Sandringham.
If your mattress is adequately supported and is free of stains or damage but has a permanent body impression greater than an inch and a half (or any other manufacturing defect), then your mattress and or boxspring will be replaced by your retailer under the terms of your manufacturer's warranty. Please note the following issues are excluded under warranty:
Memory foam mattresses can contour to your body offering you more comfort and support than coil spring mattresses can. A coil mattress can sag in areas where your body needs extra support, exposing you to a higher risk for spraining muscles and joints while you sleep.
